Cedar Ecker is a creative writer and multimedia artist. She is currently pursuing degrees in Creative Writing and Publishing at City University of New York, with a focus on collaboration between written and visual storytelling.

Her art and writing aim to provoke the wonder, curiosity, and desire for closeness with those around us that often fall away at the advent of adulthood. Her work most often falls towards fantasy and speculative fiction, and she is particularly passionate about including LGBT+, Jewish, and disability representation in her work.

When not at school can be found on a farm in rural Connecticut, playing with her dog Willow and running Dungeons and Dragons games for her friends.
